We all have certain attributes and characteristics, a combination, and everyone else have their own combination and we all have to deal with it, or do we have an option? Some scripts are bad and some are good among them. Some may have a larger set of bad and some a larger set of good. Where are these coming from?
Our face cuts, our body structure, our ailments we inherit from parents. Some of our characteristics we even inherit from grandparents. It is a coding, a set, which we get. Hardcoded? Let’s see. From where do our parents inherit, from their parents and the legacy goes on. It is very well observed that some of our natures are inherent. The nature of seeking pleasure and the nature of looking for shelter, which indeed is our longing for love, and our consciousness revolves around this. In one line our inherent nature can be described as “A conscious search for pleasure ending in love”
How does this inherent nature become inherent or is inherent, possibly it seems that to trace out that is cumbersome. If we just look around everyone from animals to smaller living entities, insects, aquatics all have this inherent nature. All the inherited characteristics either become obstacles or favorable for coming to the inherent nature. Sometimes man gets so caught up in the characteristics that one forgets what is my inherent nature.
Another interesting angle is that something comes into existence if it is bound by time, “Once upon a time?”. Time factor deteriorates our bodies and objects in this world, but our inherent nature remains same. That means inherent nature is not bound by time. When it is not bound by time, it is ever existing. When we come in time domain, the “Temporary Nature” gets attributed to things and people, which hinders/blocks/limits our “attempt to come to our inherent nature”. That is why Love in this world hurts. Time is the deciding/restricting factor in all the material laws, velocity, acceleration, mass, reactions, biological functions, pressure etc. Ever imagined how these laws will work without time ? The activating factor for matter is time. Our inherent nature being beyond time is more powerful than matter or in one sense doesn’t work well in the material domain. Because of this incompatibility, when we try to come to our inherent nature, we will be unsuccessful. Why do we have this inherent nature then, can’t I change it? Well how much control do you have over time? Can I gain control? Yes Yes . . .
We are not the only being on this planet, we live with millions of living entities around us every moment. There are only two domains, time and without time or timelessness. Ever slept long or in a dream, waking up you don’t know where you are? You just experienced timelessness, in sleep we transcend the time domain, while our bodies still remain in time domain. What? In time domain we are miserable because of restricting degrees of freedom and incompatibility. In simple words we are not matter but spirit, and we are eternal, beyond time. That means there are some beings living in the domain of timelessness? Do we know? In our limited understanding currently in the time domain, how can we know of the timeless domain? Just like to know about Physics you approach someone who is well versed in Physics domain. Similarly, to know about the timeless domain we reach out to timeless literatures, given to us by a timeless being, for the living entities who are miserable in this time domain. Searching or to put it in a more fashionable way Researching in matter, or reading literatures which talk about matter or hearing from people who know only matter, we remain in matter, means miserable, only aware of new chemical reactions and physical laws. What option do I have? Attempt to come out of matter, following those who are out of it and use our characteristics for that purpose and bring others out of matter, the former part being the priority and more important. Why?
We are spirit and our inherent nature is our spiritual nature, coming to our spiritual nature is Spirituality, and revive our connection with Supreme Spirit, God, the source of everything, the one in control, umm no, prominently controlled by Love of the dependent spirits. Those who become independent, are under control of time. Love is always between two entities, and the love is enjoyed more by varieties, varieties are endless and permanent if they are beyond time. The place of timelessness or spiritual world is that place. Currently we see matter everywhere, having limited understanding of material laws and hence it becomes very difficult to comprehend spirit and spiritual laws, but the comprehension has to go beyond the eyes, indeed “Seeing is not Believing”
What do I do now? Start seeking the timelessness, because right now we can come out of the clutches of matter and time, since spirit controls matter, but vice versa is miserable. This is called Yoga, and this is Goal of Life …
